Inner Man & Inner Woman:
Transformation for the Seventh Chakra - I

Unity is the major theme of the seventh chakra.
The ultimate union that humans can attain to is with the universe, the divine energy of the cosmos.
That union has been called enlightenment or the blossoming of the thousand petals of the inner energy lotus of the crown chakra.
The possibility of that union can come about only if we have a union within ourselves.

The seventh chakra is located at the top of the head and includes the brain.
Our brain has two hemispheres and it is where the duality of the body begins to meet.
In the chakra system each of the other chakras has a duality, a polarity of positive and negative (like the poles of a magnet) or a male or
female aspect. Physically and energetically we all have a male side and a female side.
The right side is male and the left side is female, in both men and women, but in the brain there is a switching over and the left is male and
the right is female. This crossing over helps the duality of male and female to meet and merge.
In this Transformation of Chakra Energy group we will work with the whole male and female energies in our chakras from the roots - in the
legs below the first chakra, to the petals – at the top of the head. The group exercises help each person to experience both polarities. To
experience the opposite sex polarity is a very revealing and wonderful experience.

Usually we are identified with the energy of our physical sex, men think they are men and women think they are women. But a man does
have a woman in side him and a woman has a man inside her.
To understand this one thing but to experience it in totally brings an energetic transformation.

The outcome is a greater compassion and understanding of the opposite sex and it is another key in healing male-female relationships.
Also the meeting and the inner man and inner woman brings a greater blissfulness into our lives and greater silence and meditativeness.

Man and woman are two parts of one whole. If you are a man that means your unconscious will be a woman. If you are a woman your unconscious
will be a man. It was a revolutionary thought in the Western world but not in the East. The East has known it for at least five thousand years.
There are statues in the East symbolizing the same concept of totality -- Shiva, Nataraj the dancer, and Ardhanarishwar, half woman and half man.
In Tantra it has been accepted for centuries that it is impossible to have man just be man for the simple reason that everybody is born out of a father
and a mother. Both contribute to the being of the child. Whether the child turns out to be a man or a woman, it doesn't matter; his basic
constituents came from both sides; man and woman. Something in the child will remain of both.
If a right kind of psychology prevails in the world and every child is brought up with both his sides growing together, he will have the strength of a
man and he will also have the softness, the lovingness of a woman.
